This is the story of John Dean, White House Counsel during the Nixon administration, and his personal challenges, his marriage to Maureen, and his struggles during the Watergate scandal.

 

Sheen's portrayal of Dean earned him a nomination for the Best Actor Golden Globe from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. However, he once again declined to participate.
